Johnson Probing is a LEADING PROVIDER of Environmental Geoprobe® field services in Illinois and surrounding states, specializing in direct push sampling of soil and ground water.

Based in the western suburbs of Chicago, we are prepared to support clients throughout the U.S.

Our services and capabilities include:

  • Direct push soil sampling using Geoprobe® tooling for both soil and ground water sampling
  • Installation of temporary piezometer/groundwater monitoring wells (0.5” to 2” diameter).
  • Installation of pre pack wells.
  • Chemical injection
  • Soil gas sampling
We use the Geoprobe® Model 5400 probe mounted in a Ford F-350 four-wheel drive truck, the track mounted Geoprobe® 66DT with augering capabilities and portable hand cart units for hard to reach locations.

Health and Safety
Johnson Probing knows that safety is an integral part of any project. All our field staff are OSHA 40 hour trained and meet the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e).  Our field staff all participate in a medical surveillance program as per 29 CFR 1910.120(f).

Insurance
Johnson Probing carries insurance coverage to satisfy most environmental job sites.  We will provide Certificates of Insurance with the appropriate “additional insured” language upon request.
